Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a brief visit to Victoria today to visit CFB Esquimalt and to meet with Mayor Lisa Helps at City Hall. Helps said she hoped to discuss innovation, infrastructure, including a new firehall and Crystal Pool, and social enterprise with the prime minister.
The visit marks the first prime ministerial visit to Victoria’s City Hall since Lester Pearson visited the city in 1965.
