Each year the Douglas 10 to Watch Awards celebrate some of the best up-and-coming Vancouver Island businesses. This year we are looking forward to hearing the 2019 winners announced on April 4th. The awards would not be possible without the sponsors that support entrepreneurs in the community.
We talked to Al Hasham, CEO of Maximum Express and one of our 2019 sponsors, about the importance of supporting those in our communities that take the risk of starting innovative businesses. Hasham has had many conversations with past 10 to Watch winners about their businesses and goals.

I will always be connected and support any entrepreneurs or small businesses in our community that’s how I started, I own two local family owned and operated business – helping, mentoring, supporting and giving back to our community the return or in business the ROI is unmeasurable and priceless.
