Celebrating Women Investors

(News Release) VICTORIA — Women are embracing investing, traditionally a male-dominated field, and this growing diversity brings with it the opportunity for enormous wealth creation.
On May 27 at the Guild, Celebrating Women Investors is featuring two of the women at the forefront of this new wave of women investors: Brenda Irwin and Jen Paterson. Irwin is an investor and advisor as well as managing partner and co-founder with four-time Olympian Simon Whitfield of Relentless Pursuit Partners Inc (RPP). RPP is an investment and consulting business dedicated to healthy, active living. Paterson is CEO of Dollar Divas, a group of nearly 450 members with numerous chapters across BC for women who want to be financially independent.

Celebrating Women Investors is jointly hosted by the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Victoria and the Capital Investment Network (CIN) and aims to recognize financially confident women who are leading the way. The event is also Victoria’s participation in Putting Investors First Month, a global initiative to help call attention to the needs and rights of investors and is being organized alongside 11 other Canadian CFA Societies as well as societies around the world.
