Tourism Victoria Announces 2016 Board of Directors

Victoria, B.C. – The results are in and the 2016 Board of Directors has been confirmed for Tourism Victoria. Announced at the Annual Tourism Victoria Christmas Luncheon and Elections Meeting in December 2015, the 2016 Board began their term on January 1, 2016.

“Over the past couple of years, Tourism Victoria’s volunteer Board has worked hard to shift to a strategy-focused Board that handles issues critical to both the organization and the destination,” says Paul Nursey, President & CEO of Tourism Victoria. “I look forward to working with this group of professionals as the destination moves through a period of significant investment and ongoing growth.”

“I am looking forward to helping the Tourism Victoria management team to strengthen our tourism industry for future generations,” says Bill Lewis, incoming Chair of the Board. “Our objectives are to help move along key priority initiatives to strengthen and reinforce our position as tourism leaders and innovators within B.C. and Canada.”
