Homegrown basketball legend and entrepreneur Steve Nash has launched his first line of designer suits with another local business icon, custom menswear maker Indochino.
The Steve Nash Collection also highlights the athlete’s role with the Canadian company, in which he has been an investor since early 2011. Indochino was co-founded by Victorian Kyle Vucko.
The two-time MVP of the National Basketball League collaborated with Indochino creative and design teams to co-create the collection, which includes six custom-fit suits made from 100 per cent merino wool, silk ties, pocket squares, and contemporary cufflinks.
“I have a huge passion for men’s apparel and brands that are innovative,” says Nash. “So it is extremely exciting for me to be a part of a brand like Indochino and to have the opportunity to design my own signature collection with them.”
Nash also noted that, “Indochino helps men dress stylishly without breaking the bank and to be a part of that by launching my own line is very special. I’m looking forward to hearing what people think of the collection and believe it will be positive.”
Vucko is thrilled with Nash’s increased involvement with his company.

We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity,” says the UVic business grad.
The basketball star is a friend and business partner of Indochino chairman Jeff Mallett. Both are co-owners of the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS soccer team, and Mallett is a principal owner of Major League Baseball’s San Francisco Giants. The former president and COO of Yahoo introduced Nash to the company as a result of their shared interest in men’s fashion.
