Get Engaged With the Social Media Awards

Like the changing business environment, the third annual Social Media awards show an evolution in focus, with many of the awards highlighting the work of progressive individuals and businesses across multiple social media platforms and channels.

“In the past we awarded in categories like ‘Best Business Blog’ and ‘Best Facebook Page’,” says Chris Burdge, co-founder of Social Media Awards, which take place during Victoria’s popular Social Media Camp each year. “Social media is no longer seen as an added part of a business; it’s now part of an integrated marketing, advertising, and communications environment. Our new awards categories reflect this change while still highlighting the amazing work of a number of talented and creative individuals and businesses.”

Nominations for the third annual Social Media Awards close on Friday, March 29, 2013. The finalists from the public nominations will then be evaluated by the Social Media Award judges who include New York Times Bestselling author, Julien Smith, CC Chapman, Tod Maffin, Angela Crocker and Bob Fine. The winners will then be showcased during the gala dinner on May 7, 2013.
