Lone Tree Properties Ltd., a subsidiary of Storm Mountain Development Corporation, announced today the launch of the first phase of The Foothills in Lantzville B.C. Between 2011-2013, Lone Tree Properties Ltd., put the project back together and began working with the District of Lantzville on a new process and agreements for development. A framework for a new Phased Development Agreement with the District of Lantzville was negotiated in 2014 ensuring The Foothills will set ambitious social and sustainability goals that will influence all aspects of community design.
Extensive environmental studies have been conducted on the land to distinguish where the development interacts with sensitive areas and what the best practices are to ensure minimum to no impact. Construction will be conducted carefully and progress will be gradual in order to avoid major impacts to the community members.
