Sport & Fitness Job Fair at PISE

(News Release) VICTORIA — The Centre for Sport and Exercise Education, Camosun College, and the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) will host a sport and fitness job fair on Thursday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The job fair will be held at PISE on Camosun’s Interurban Campus, 4461 Interurban Road, Victoria.
This innovative and comprehensive job and career fair is designed to provide students at all levels – college and high school – interested members of the public, and Camosun faculty and staff with the opportunity to view and interact with over 20 exhibitors and potential employers in areas related to Sport and Exercise.
“This is the first of what we hope is an annual sport and fitness job fair,” says Alex Carre, leader of the sport and fitness leadership degree program at Camosun. “Special guest speakers and on-site demonstrations will be available in addition to draw prizes and other special events. Everyone is welcome. Come and meet our faculty and staff, student presenters and career exhibitors.”
The guest speakers are Kelly Mann of the BC Games Society; Bob Johnston of Cannon Design; Elaine Dagg-Jackson, coach of the Canadian Women’s Curling Team; and Dylan Hermann, head athletic therapist with the Victoria Royals.
