Ownership Changes at Boulevard Magazine

(News Release) VICTORIA — John Simmons has reacquired the minority equity position of Boulevard magazine owned by Peter Baillie, who will leave his position as publisher.
The transaction results in John Simmons regaining 100 per cent ownership of Boulevard.
"The publishing industry is in a state of incredible change, and with all of this change, new opportunities will arise," says Simmons. "Being in complete control of the business will allow me to quickly consider opportunities that will add value for our readers and advertisers alike."
Baillie joined Boulevard and assumed the role of publisher in January 2010.
“We have been able to create great things at Boulevard over the past few years," he says. "I will miss the business, but at the same time, I am looking forward to new challenges.”
