CRD Public Open Houses on Wastewater Treatment Begin Today in Esquimalt

(News Release) VICTORIA – Join the Capital Regional District in Esquimalt at the first of two public engagement open house sessions on the wastewater treatment McLoughlin Option.
The Capital Regional District is moving forward with wastewater treatment in the region. On June 23, 2010, the CRD Board approved Amendment 8 to the Liquid Waste Management Plan, which includes a centralized treatment facility to be located at McLoughlin Point in Esquimalt.
Public Engagement Open House Sessions in Esquimalt
Tuesday, July 6, 2010 and Thursday, July 8 from 3 – 8 pm
Esquimalt Municipal Hall, 1229 Esquimalt Road
